Greetings, dear family, friends and supporters,

It’s been some time since we’ve sent out a donor report so we will try to touch some of the highpoints for you. In reading these, please be reminded that His faithfulness and your generosity has made these things possible.

  • In June, Jim spoke on the Faith Church Camp Meeting in Florence. He spoke on“What are you doing to nurture your soul?” He also shared about the Ministry ofEncouragement.

  • We have recently ministered to the staff and residents at Restoration Ranch in Tuscumbia, Alabama. This is a Christian rehab and discipleship training program forthose with life-controlling problems.

  • Jim is going to teach a seven-week Bible class at the local YMCA in Florence. This is a first-time-ever experiment for the “Y.” Jim will teach a condensed version of “Experiencing God” by Henry Blackaby.

  • Jim will be presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award in August by theNational Campus Ministers Association of the Churches of Christ. Jim and Annewill be traveling to Dallas, Texas to receive the award on the SMU campus.(Much more about this later)

  • Jim continues to make calls on pastors and ministers as a part of the Ministryof Encouragement. Additional Mornings of Encouragement are being planned.

  • A few weeks ago, we were privileged to have three of our daughters (Melody,Amy, Holly) and their families visit us in the Shoals. We had a rip-roaring good time and thoroughly enjoyed one another.

  • Jim’s health continues to improve. There is some concern about a tumor on hisadrenal gland and also a newly found growth on his thyroid. Please keep us inyour prayers.

We plan to do a more extensive Newsletter after the trip to Dallas in early August.

We thank you for your continued financial support and most certainly, for your prayers.

Gratefully and Expectantly,

Jim and Anne
